Rafia Ali is an associate in our New York office. Rafia’s practice focuses on advising private funds regarding their structuring, formation, and operation, including compliance with securities and commodities laws. Prior to joining the firm in August 2015, Rafia worked with BNP Paribas where she advised the bank on a variety of Dodd Frank related issues, including negotiating derivatives related agreements. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Government and Politics. She received her law degree from Boston University.
