Richard's focus

Richard Catalano is an associate based in our New York office. Richard is a member of the firm’s markets and trading practice group, and routinely advises clients in connection with trading, financing and derivatives documentation. He also provides advice related to regulatory and corporate governance issues.

His practice area covers, but is not limited to, the following documentation: ISDA master agreements, prime brokerage agreements, lock-up agreements, custody agreements, securities lending agreements, master securities forward transaction agreements, collateral agreements, credit agreements, repurchase agreements, LSTA/LMA loan trading documentation and non-disclosure agreements.

Prior to joining the firm in February 2019, Richard was a commercial litigation associate at a mid-size law firm in Rochester, New York. Richard received his law degree from The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2017. He graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a B.A. in History in 2009.
